General Policy
This privacy statement applies to anyone who uses a Legal Kiosk.
We collect data about how the website is used. This usage data does not include personally-identifying information. See the General Usage Statistics section below for information on what data we collect and how we use it.
You can access an Online Application through this Legal Kiosk. See the Online Applications to Legal Aid section below for details on what information is collected in the Online Application and how the information is used.
Online Applications to Legal Aid
When you use the Online Application to ask for help from Legal Aid, we use a third-party website managed by Legal Aid. The Online Application asks for certain information so that the Legal Aid organization you apply to can process your application. It asks for contact information so Legal Aid can get in touch with you. It also asks for information about your legal problem and your income to help Legal Aid decide if they can help with your case.
The Legal Kiosk does not keep the information you enter into the application form. The information is stored in Legal Aid’s secure case management system.
We are not responsible for the information you provide to any organization. We do not have access to the information.
